All is set for the second edition of Imo Got Talent a reality show which its maiden edition held 2011 in the heartland state.
The event which is organized by Prince Noel Production Inc, is designed to fish out the best of the best of Imo talents in the area of music, dancing, comedy, acting and modeling. The organizers have promised folds of improvements on the standard of the 2011 edition.

According to the CEO, Prince Noel Production Inc, Prince Emmanuel Unegbu, this edition has been approved based on the scholarship from international Modeling and Talent Association New York to provide a 3 month scholarship programme for the winner in USA.
“With partners backing up all talent categories, we have every contestant covered in case they emerge victorious” He said.
The event has partnered with Houston, Texas, USA based record label, Franco Records, who will take care of musical section with a record deal and training for the winner.
ARCANOVI Enterprise, owners of Afro Carib Radio, is another partner, offering artiste website and promotion via Afro Carib Radio, their artiste management outfit and publications.
Chima Movie Empire USA, is another top partner with packages that will surely help contestants with dreams of appearing on the big screens as actors, actresses and models.
Imo Got Talent which borrowed ideas from the likes of America Got Talent and Britain Got Talent unlike these top global series looks to discovering untapped talents found in school dropouts, youths in the streets, motor parks and farms to the level of unemployed graduates.
“IGTC adopts the nature of a global series in terms of organization, competition, wide media coverage, panel of impartial judges and audience input (vote). It differs from the global series  because it aims at bringing out talents from places others will not be looking into”
Mr Unegbu also added that the event will give youths rear opportunities to showcase their talents; be discovered by scouts in the entertainment industries and bring themselves to doors of greatness irrespective of their family backgrounds and life situations.
“ IGTC is not just a television competition series where prizes are won, but it is also a youth personal and social empowerment programme which opens avenues  for self employments and job creation.
 At same time, we hope that the programme will be capable of making Imo state the birthplace of talents and stardom in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.
Another side event attached to the programme is Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign (BCAC), an all-important health campaign which is an effort by the organizers to raise awareness which will reduce the stigma of breast cancer through education on symptoms and treatment.
