Rumour has it that the Mbaise based singer made up the story to stay above other artistes in the industry but Acharaman still maintained that he never lied.
The news was first broken by Imo State based entertainment website www.otowngist.com, who alleged that the singer said that two record labels are tussling for his signature.
The city Owerri and fans of the artiste received the news with great joy but since nothing has happened so far, some fans are beginning to doubt the credibility of the statement alleged to have been made by the Mbaise born rapper.
Speaking on the rumour Acharaman said “This is called entertainment industry, everything goes; gossips, side talks and whatever you call it. Journalists and bloggers can be very careful when it comes to politicians, but when it’s an entertainer, everything goes, the good the bad and the ugly and for now I see them all for the good of the entertainer.
I’m in talk with record labels just like most unsigned artistes in the country, but one thing I won’t do is to start mentioning names. The names will surely be made known at the right time”
Acharaman however added that listening to those side talks will distract him because he is just focused on his birthday which will also mark the release of the single ‘form a circle’ on May 30, 2013.
