Female artistes have often received poor attentions maybe because there are always few of them who are very serious with what they are doing.
Aside in the world of fashion, where ladies have topped the list of achievers in the country, they have failed to clinch a worthy place in the world of music where in Imo State the ratio of male artistes to females will still be wrong when put to 10:1, because it is wrong.

Hi Bro Fuston,
Three years ago while I was at home briefly waiting for the release of my SSCE results, I unfortunately became pregnant. It was on the third month that I noticed the pregnancy due to the fact that my period was irregular, sometimes. Even now sometimes I will stay for two months without seeing my period.
It was difficult for me to tell my parents the man that was responsible because in less than 4 weeks, I made love to two men.

With the United States of America and their cousins legalizing same sex marriage in their countries, Nigerians and the entire Africans took their time to condemn the act. The condemnation is still on especially with the recent visit of President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria to the White House and that of President Barack Obama of United States of America to his home country Kenya.
There have been various signs and messages to speak against same sex marriage in Africa and in my usual way, I just want to talk about the things everyone has failed to see even when our eyes are open.
The right definition for how I feel now is troubled and having realized that speaking out makes it look like I have an alien mind is the funniest thing that I will have to face especially now that I am writing on this topic.
Looking at the state of Nigerian music industry today, one would praise the resilience of the veterans and also the contributions of those who came after. The greatest praise should be heaved on Nigerians who used the best part of their hearts to believe in Nigeria music because without the people, there would never be anything like the lucrative industry we have today.

From my mind's eye, I see a picture of our past heroes fighting for the freedom of this great Nation with the hope of achieving a safe home for the Nigerian, a place conducive for the molding of a true Nigerian child who would be an embodiment of near perfection both in virtue, conducts and every aspect of life.
It is a pity that these past heroes now lie covered in ancient earth helplessly looking at their shattered hopes and aspirations. They neither achieved the home, sweet home of a Nigerian nor the complete or wholistic Nigerian child, they had dreamt of.
The Nigerian that I have grown to know is indubitable, not the Nigeria that was hoped for.
I just imagined what my parents had to go through to reach each other because I am very sure that in their days, there was no mobile phone and so was there no social media.
They were patient to believe that a letter they took time to write will reach the other person in weeks and should he or she be outside the country, they would still be cool with the number of months it would take before their loved ones read the messages.
That was the teens of those days. They were smart and intelligent; rough and arrogant; clueless and carefree just like everything we see today. Everything was just the same but their patience. They believed in friendship and loved; they worked to keep their friends and these are virtues that have been long lost since the teens of today took over the terrain.
Mine was the ushering of the social media age and it was mixed with lots of excitement. We only needed just one best friend and the rest are people we might never meet till we depart from earth and I have come to understand that we often change these friends so often that our toothbrushes often outlive them.

In a swift reaction to an article titled 'Is KozyG now dating Adanna Obi?' which was published in some entertainment news blog around the country, Otowngist.com reporter, Adanna Obi has withdrawn herself from the story, saying she is not dating KozyG.
Although there were pictures of the pair in the article, Adanna maintained that her meeting with KozyG was official just like she has had with other artistes.
One of the battles facing almost every upcoming artiste is to keep their brands away from the top artistes who can steal them without getting scratched from anyone.
As artistes keep marking their success with funny titles they give their songs, Imo State based artiste cum producer, Reflex Soundz joined the likes of Inyanya (Kukere), KCee (Limpopo), Terry G (Akpako) and Davido (Skelewu), to title his track Shimbolobo.
