The Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Eze Madumere, has congratulated the Muslim faithful on the occasion of 2016 Eid-el-Kabir, calling for sacrifice for a more cohere and united Nigeria.

Prince Madumere’s message was contained in areas release signed by his Special Assistant on Media, Uche Onwuchekwa.

The Deputy Governor who said that the event in the Muslim Calendar, known as festival of sacrifice is not unconnected with the significant of sacrifice God’s sacrifice in his providence with a view to saving saving mankind. He pointed out that such divine sacrifice should be emulated by all.

He therefore charged Muslim faithful  to use the solemn festival of sacrifice to seek peace by imbibing the spirit love and tolerance with a view to achieving a more cohere and united Nigeria.

The number citizen also urged for understanding with the present economic realities, saying that Nigeria will emerge better given the effort of the Federal Government and other levels of government to re-engineer the Nigeria economic status.

He therefore urged the Muslim faithful to spare a thought for Nigeria and pray for God’s divine intervention in the affairs of Nation  while calling for a patriotic spirit towards building a Nigeria of collective dream.
