As preparation near fever pitch ahead of the commencement of Imo at 40 anniversary celebration, one of the officials working round the clock to achieve a hitch-free anniversary, Mrs. Lisa Asugha Ayalla has lauded the visionary leadership of Gov. Rochas Okorocha saying the governor’s visionary leadership has provided quantum motivation needed to make it a memorable event.

Mrs. Asugha Ayalla, who is the special Assistant to the governor on Special Duties, also had kind words for the Chief of Staff Government House, Chief Uche Nwosu whom he said had provided the dynamic balance that has made preparations to flow freely.

The Special Assistant who bared her mind in her office in Owerri while interacting with journalists disclosed that the special flavor and appeal trailing the preparation for the anniversary can be traced to the leadership of Gov. Okorocha which has yielded thousands of projects which would be commissioned in the next one year.

She maintained that the finger print of the governor is visible in practically every sector of the state especially in the education and infrastructural sectors adding that the governor’s pronouncement a few days ago that the first ever fly over projects in Owerri being built by his administration  in Orji and Amakohia would be commissioned before the end of March is concrete proof of his giant strides.

Mrs. Asugha Ayalla posited that the landscape of the state had been positively altered by the administration stressing that doubting Thomases who have always accused the governor of non-delivery would eat their words when the commissioning train kick starts soon.

While praising her principal for coming up with an apt theme thank God for Rescue Mission Imo is better at 40 the aide added that the move by him to   give legal backing to the celebration to make it a yearly event was not only welcome but also right because it would help Imolites to on yearly basis recommit and rededicate themselves to the Imo project.

She also thumbed up the governor for instituting various categories of awards to motivate citizens who have exhibited high level of patriotism and love for fatherland since the creation of the state even as she opined that Chief Uche Nwosu the chief of staff Government House has proven that he has all it takes to make government policies and programmes succeed with the able way and manner he has been helping to make the anniversary memorable.Â
