A London, United Kingdom based record label Bashrobeats Limited has signed Nigerian born singer Franklin Chinonso Diala popularly known as Frankcee in a multi-million Naira record deal. Abuja, Nigeria based Frankcee penned the deal under the watchful eyes of Mr. Onyeji Sunday Chukwma, CEO, SIBILANT Global Entertainment who are co-owners of the artistes and partners of Bashrobeats Limited in an event which took place at Glamour Lounge, Asokoro Abuja on October 6, 2015.
Mr. Onyeji who spoke for SIBILANT and on behalf of Miss. Mckay Karena Dawn, CEO, Bashrobeats Limited, expressed his joy and optimism for Frankcee and both labels, adding that the singer’s talent and personality earned him the deal.
Speaking further, he said: “There are thousands of talented singers in the country at the moment, some have the calling, others are just passing time with it, probably because of the high level of unemployment in the country. Frankcee is an artiste I have monitored for a while and he is not just an embodiment of talent, but of good character as well.
“He can sing, and he can also manage the pressure that comes with it as a man and we are looking forward to moving to the next level in the industry with him”
Imo State born Frankcee, in response pledged to give the label value for their investment, counting himself as a blessed artiste amongst thousands. “I must say that I am blessed because this has gone beyond luck. I know I deserve this but I am still grateful to God who made it possible.
“The next thing is to make both Bashrobeats and SIBILANT proud. They have seen something in me and it is my turn to give them something in return. I’m looking forward to the wonderful experience of working with the labels; every time I close my eyes, I see the big things we can achieve and I believe God will make that dream come true”, he said.
Although much details and terms of the deal were not made public, Frankcee’s activities at the labels will be kicking off with the release of what has already been tipped a hit single titled ’Marry Me’. The single is produced by 2015 NEA Awards nominee, DJ Coublon who is responsible for some hits by the likes of Kiss Daniel, Iyanya and Tekno to name a few.
In addition to Frankcee, popular On Air Personality, Alito Ahmed Adoke aka DJ 3ple-A of Raypower FM, has also joined the team and will be working toward the realizations of the labels’ goals for the artiste.
