The song which was credited to Suspense Babani as the produced has fellow producer Yung Roc alleging that he was supposed to be mentioned as the producer of the song.
G-Tim who declared that he is not ready to be surrounded by any form of controversy made the statement to www.otowngist.com just to clear his name from the black book of the city.
“Suspense Babani was mentioned as the producer because he produced the song. I know that Yung Roc made a contribution, but he can never be called the producer of a song which he could not wait for the beat to be finished.
He started the beat with Suspense Babani and left before it could be finished because the fuel in the generator finished at that time.
Suspense did every other thing and it will be unfair to credit it to Yung Roc who was only called by Suspense Babani to bring in his idea to the beat” he said.
It was also alleged that Yung Roc’s signature tune was removed from the song when he was gone, which G-Tims confirmed but www.otowngist.com is still working on balancing the opinions of the two producers involved in the tug of war.
Although Yung Roc still wants to be mentioned as the producer of the song, G-Tims still mentioned his name at the end of the song thanking for his contributions.
Research has it that this is not the first time something like this is happening, cases where some artistes steal other people’s song, producers remove other producer’s signature tunes to add theirs just to make names for themselves.
www.otowngist.com will bring you more reports on this.
