Most times they are asked to explain certain words they used in their lyrics especially if that word or phrase was invented by the artiste. R-Kelly, Dbanj, Timaya and other faced the tough questions, but for Abia State born Nero, all he has to do is explain why he used a name that seemed more like camouflage on the message from the song.
“Ifeoma’m means my goodies or all the good things I desire to achieve in life. The song is just a prayer to God, begging him to answer my prayers so that I can live my dream the way I want it to be”
The Nnamdi Azikiwe University graduate of Geology went ahead to say that the lyrics of the song was based on what he has experienced in life.
“I’ve seen talented artistes wasting on the street, while people who are not that good are being celebrated nationwide and beyond.
I know that only the Grace of God can open such doors for man, that’s why I had to sing it in a song. If God can show me and others like me this special grace, it means my story will change and I know that it won’t be long till I get there”
Nero Featured rapper Mr Frank to yield a song that can wake you up in the morning and take to bed at night as well.
Good thing he said ‘to make am no be muscle’, meaning we all need the grace of God to succeed.
