What was Lo-Key thinking when he did ‘Nonsense’?

Singer and rapper Lo-Key recently released a single which is making waves currently in the east of the Niger with great hopes of crossing the Niger bridge and moving beyond the borders of Nigeria.

Listening to the song titled ‘Nonsense’ I simply asked myself what this dude was thinking when he walked into the studio to do this song.

What he was thinking is not the only thing that baffles me currently, it is the rate at which people are loving the ‘Nonsense’ this dude cooked for them.

Reaching Lo-Key was not easy, but when I finally succeeded, this is what he said when I put the question to him. “I thought I should do a song that absolutely has no meaning and see how it goes. A song with no sense and that was how I arrived at ‘Nonsense’.

I’ve been so serious on songs that I’ve done previously, dropping punch lines and good melodies, but I haven’t really played on a beat before. I decided to play on the beat and when it was done, it turned out to be a nice song and people love it.

When I realized it could be a hit, I decided to make it official”

Nonsense is currently playing on radio stations in the country and is also online for free download.
